LuxPowerTek LXP ACS 3600 MG 3.6kW AC-Coupled Inverter

The LuxPowerTek LXP ACS 3600 MG is a 3.6kW AC-coupled battery inverter designed for adding battery storage to new or existing solar PV installations.

Rather than replacing an existing solar inverter, the LXP ACS 3600 can be installed on the AC side of the system, providing a practical way to add 48V battery storage, time-of-use charging and emergency backup capability to an existing installation.

With a 70A maximum battery charge and discharge current, dedicated EPS output, IP65-rated enclosure and support for intelligent energy management, it provides a flexible solution for residential battery storage and retrofit applications.

Designed for Retrofit Battery Storage

The AC-coupled architecture makes this inverter particularly useful when battery storage is being added to an existing grid-connected solar PV system. It can operate alongside the existing solar inverter without requiring the complete solar system to be redesigned.

The system can store excess energy, charge batteries during lower-cost tariff periods and discharge stored energy when electricity prices are higher, depending on the configuration and electricity tariff being used.
