Fogstar Energy 5.12kWh 51.2V LiFePO4 Server Rack Battery
The Fogstar Energy 5.12kWh Server Rack Battery is a high-performance LiFePO4 energy storage solution designed for residential, commercial, solar and off-grid battery systems.
Providing 5.12kWh of usable energy storage, the battery uses 16 premium Grade A EVE LiFePO4 cells and combines long cycle life with integrated heating, an LCD touchscreen, inverter communication and built-in electrical protection.
Its rack-mounted modular design also makes it easy to expand your energy storage system, with support for up to 32 batteries connected in parallel, or up to 31 batteries when used with compatible Victron systems.

Grade A LiFePO4 Cells
The Fogstar Energy Server Rack Battery is constructed using 16 premium Grade A EVE LiFePO4 cells, providing a combination of safety, efficiency and long-term performance.
Fogstar specifies approximately 4,000 cycles at 80% Depth of Discharge (DOD), making the battery suitable for regular charging and discharging within renewable energy storage systems.
Integrated Battery Heating
The battery has been designed with UK operating conditions in mind and incorporates an automatic internal heating system.
The heating system activates when temperatures fall below 5°C, allowing the battery to continue charging in temperatures as low as -20°C.
Battery Protection
An integrated 125A DC breaker provides additional electrical protection and can interrupt the battery circuit in the event of a fault.
The battery’s integrated management and protection systems help maintain safe and reliable operation during normal charging and discharging.
Inverter Communication & Compatibility
The Fogstar Energy Rack Battery includes preloaded inverter protocols designed to simplify integration with a wide range of popular inverter systems.
Fogstar lists out-of-the-box protocol support for manufacturers including Victron, Pylontech, Growatt, Sofar, Solis and GoodWe.
The integrated LCD touchscreen allows the inverter protocol to be selected directly from the battery without requiring separate BMS software downloads.

Expandable Rack Battery Storage
The modular rack-mounted format makes this battery particularly suitable for expandable energy storage installations.
Up to 32 Fogstar Energy Rack Batteries can be connected in parallel, allowing system capacity to increase as energy storage requirements grow. Fogstar specifies a maximum of 31 rack batteries when used with Victron systems.

Installation Information
Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified and knowledgeable person using appropriate cabling, protection, system configuration and inverter settings.
The battery weighs approximately 45.2kg, so suitable lifting and handling procedures should be used when installing or removing the battery from a rack or cabinet.
