Fogstar Energy 16.1kWh 51.2V LiFePO4 Battery
The Fogstar Energy IP65-Rated 16.1kWh Battery is a high-capacity 51.2V LiFePO4 energy storage solution designed for residential, commercial and off-grid renewable energy systems.
With a total energy capacity of approximately 16.1kWh and a 314Ah capacity, this battery combines premium Grade A EVE LiFePO4 cells with a PACE 200A Battery Management System, 2A JK active balancing, integrated heating, built-in fire suppression and touchscreen monitoring.
The fully sealed IP65-rated enclosure provides protection against dust and water ingress for suitable indoor and outdoor installations. Up to 15 batteries can be connected in parallel, allowing storage capacity to be expanded as system requirements grow.

Built-In Heating & Fire Suppression
The Fogstar Energy 16.1kWh battery incorporates an intelligent integrated heating system. Heating automatically activates when temperatures fall below 5°C, helping to enable safe charging at 0°C and reliable operation in ambient temperatures as low as -20°C.
An automatic built-in aerosol fire suppression system provides an additional layer of protection. The system is designed to activate if internal temperatures reach critical levels, helping to suppress a fire at its source.
Battery Management & Active Balancing
An integrated PACE 200A Battery Management System (BMS) manages battery operation and provides communication with compatible inverter systems.
The battery is also equipped with a 2A JK Active Balancer, helping to maintain consistent cell balancing and support long-term battery performance.
An integrated 250A DC breaker provides additional protection by safely interrupting current in the event of a fault.
Inverter Communication & Compatibility
The PACE BMS contains preloaded inverter communication protocols for a range of popular manufacturers, including Victron, Pylontech, Growatt, Sofar, Solis and GoodWe.
Inverter protocols can be selected directly through the battery’s integrated LCD touchscreen without requiring separate software downloads.

Expandable Battery Storage
For installations requiring greater energy storage capacity, up to 15 identical Fogstar Energy 16.1kWh batteries can be connected in parallel.
This allows a compatible battery storage system to be expanded as energy requirements increase.
IP65 Protection
The battery is housed within a fully sealed IP65-rated enclosure, providing protection against dust ingress and water jets from any direction.
This makes the battery suitable for appropriately designed indoor and outdoor installations, subject to Fogstar’s installation requirements.
Touchscreen Monitoring
A built-in 4.3-inch TFT LCD touchscreen provides a clear interface for viewing battery information and selecting compatible inverter protocols.
When not in use, the touchscreen automatically enters sleep mode to help reduce energy consumption and can be reactivated with a touch.

Installation Information
Due to the size, weight and electrical capacity of this battery, installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified and knowledgeable person. Appropriate cabling, overcurrent protection, system configuration and inverter settings must be used.
The integrated wheels help with positioning during installation; however, suitable handling procedures and equipment should still be used when moving the battery.
